Community Partnership 

The Corte Madera Lions partner with a number of community organizations for annual events like Coastal Cleanup, Lion’s Share Day, Oktoberfest, 4th of July, Comedy Night and much more.

Corte Madera Lions & Age Friendly Help Corte Madera Seniors

We recently conducted our Lion’s Share day in partnership with Age-Friendly Corte Madera. It’s a day dedicated to aiding Corte Madera seniors with small household tasks. 

Some examples include replacing smoke alarm batteries, changing hard-to-reach light bulbs, unclogging slow drains, oiling squeaky doors, rotating mattresses and other small household projects.

CORTE MADERA'S ANNUAL OKTOBERFEST

The Corte Madera Lions are sponsoring the 30th Corte Madera Oktoberfest. See Upcoming Events

It’s a wonderful community event that featured live music and an amazing assortment of local foods, craft beers, home brewed beers, wines, mead, craft ciders and kombucha. Children also will enjoyed the jump house, face painting and games with prizes. 

CORTE MADERA-LARKSPUR 4TH OF JULY PARADE AND FESTIVAL!

One of the biggest 4th of July events in Marin, the parade boasts the elaborate floats, precision drill teams, classic cars, and the Corte Madera Town Band. Accompanying festivities at Corte Madera's Town Park from 9 am–5 pm include arts and crafts, food and drink, carnival games, children's activities, bounce houses, and stage shows.

Lions Club had a booth at the event that sells beer, wine and hot dogs to the public. The net proceeds from these sales are donated to numerous local nonprofits.

Volunteer Dinner

 The Lions Club produces the Volunteer Dinner at the Corte Madera Community Center each year to recognize the many citizens who give their time to make our Town a better place.
